As a young boy Kevin always had an interest in fabricating and mechanical projects like building go-carts, cut up a motor bike only to build a trike. At age 14, Kevin bought a rusted out 1974 Ford Mustang and dove right into it which he then patched it up and had his dad paint the Mustang bright red.  Fresh out of high school and for approximately two years, Kevin worked for a company fabricating fiberglass fenders. He then got hired at Melbourne Motors as a body man and painter as they liked the work Kevin had done to his 1965 Ford Mustang. It was at Melbourne Motors that Kevin completed his apprenticeship.

In June of 1987, Kevin started working at Cameron Collision for Allan Cameron as a license’s Collision Technician. Kevin worked for Cameron Collision until 2002 which he then briefly pursued a different line of work but soon realized his true passion was in the collision industry.  Kevin returned to Cameron Collision and stated “it felt like home.” Kevin always dreamed of becoming an owner of a body shop and in 2006, Kevin’s dream came true and had become the newly proud owner of Cameron Collision now operating as Simplicity Car Care.

Kevin focused on building a larger customer data base and hired additional staff while still keeping that small town service feeling.

Kevin is a perfectionist and likes a challenge. “No job is too big to tackle” he says. He truly believes going the extra mile to ensure that are customers are satisfied with our services.  Kevin comes from a family who worked in the automotive industry.  His father Robert Cox was an automotive painter, his brother Mike a former owner of Coxy’s Auto and brother Bob also a former owner of a body shop.  This is Kevin’s true calling.
